Happy Friday everyone! It’s a gorgeous sunny day and it looks like we might be in for the same throughout the weekend – we hope you’ve got a BBQ or two planned! Or otherwise are getting out in the sunshine. There’s plenty to do!
Photo Competition
This is your weekly reminder that we are taking submissions for our Oakley Vale Photo Competition! We want to thank everyone for the influx of photos we have had in the last week. Some of the entries have been brilliant – proving that we’ve got some amazing budding photographers in the area! The swans in and around the lake appear to be a particular favourite!
Don’t forget that you can enter yourself by following this link and sending us your snaps – whether they’re from the bank holiday recently passed; or you get snapping over the weekend! We’d love to see what you’ve got.
Corby Race for Life
We want to say good luck to any and all those who are taking part in the Corby Race for Life this Sunday. For the first time, Corby has been chosen for 5k and 10k events at West Glebe Park.

Living Legends: Hidden Histories @ Rooftop Arts Centre – May 2nd – June 2nd – Living Legends aims to uncover the hidden stories of Corby and reflect the changing face of the town.
Food & Drink Exhibition @ Corby Heritage Centre – Open until 23rd June – A great free exhibition with objects on display including Medieval Stoneware Jugs, Roman Bowls and Ornate Jars from the Corby Borough Council Collection. Please be advised that weekdays, the opening times are 1-4pm, Saturdays 11am-2pm (closed Sundays and Bank Holidays).
